The early American farmhouse-type dwelling was located at 10050 Cielo Drive in Beverly HIlls, CA. It was purchased by Michéle Morgan from J.F. Wadkins & Co. in November 1941. With the addition of a pool and rustic recreation cottage, the investment totaled $32,000. The home, and its twin at 10048 Cielo Drive, were torn down in 1994.
Many celebrities lived in the home over the years, including actress Lillian Gish, Cary Grant & Dyan Cannon, Sharon Tate & Roman Polanksi, and a few others. According to official records with the Los Angeles Department of Building & Safety, the architect of the home was Arthur W. Hawes, and the builder was J.F. Wadkins Corp.
